• To advance knowledge, enhance interest, appreciation and enjoyment of the art of bonsai and related Oriental arts.

• To advance the aesthetic, historical, horticultural and business aspects of bonsai.

• To promote collections and exhibitions of members' bonsai.

• To assist members in the creation and care of bonsai.
